Mont Mitchell is the Sr. Pastor of Westbrook Christian Church in Bolingbrook, Il which is a southwestern suburb of the great city of Chicago. Mont and his family moved to the Chicago area in February of 1996 and planted Westbrook in October of 1996. Westbrook is a multicultural church committed to reaching all people of all ethnicities in their region as well as planting additional church planting churches~ the most recent one being Gente Unida Ministries, a Latino congregation. Over the past several years Mont has been very active in brotherhood and Church Planting ventures where he has served on the Board of Directors of Double Vision, The NACC Continuation Committee and served as the President of the National New Church Conference in 2002. Mont and his family moved to the Chicago area in February of 1996 and planted Westbrook in October of 1996. From very humble beginnings Westbrook has grown to be a church of over 1,200. Westbrook is a multicultural church committed to reaching all people of all ethnicities in their region as well as planting additional church planting churches~ the most recent one being Gente Unida Ministries, a Latino congregation. To date there are over 25 different nationalities represented at Westbrook. Over the past several years Mont has been very active in brotherhood and Church Planting ventures where he has served on the Board of Directors of Double Vision, The NACC Continuation Committee and served as the President of the National New Church Conference in 2002. In addition, Mont works with Stadia, new church strategies coaching church planters. Mont holds a BA degree from St. Louis Christian College graduating in 1987 and a MM degree from Kentucky Christian College graduating in 1991.
